A small fire broke out at a two-story twin residence on Jan. 3 at approximately 7:16 p.m., but emergency responders swiftly extinguished it. The incident occurred at 17 Cahalan Road in New Castle, where the minor blaze started on the front of the property. Firefighters arrived quickly and contained the flames, reporting no injuries or significant damage.
