Firefighters responded to a working chimney fire at a residence on Emerson Hill Road in New Ipswich on Jan. 5. Emergency crews were dispatched to 201 Emerson Hill Road around 6 p.m. after reports of a chimney fire. First responders contained the blaze, preventing it from spreading to the rest of the structure.
