Firefighters quickly responded to a first-alarm fire involving a large pile of scrap material that posed a serious threat to a nearby building in Ontelaunee Township. The incident occurred at approximately 10:26 p.m. on Jan. 15 at 30 West Huller Lane in the Royal Green area. Upon arrival, crews observed the flames endangering the structure and immediately deployed a hose line to battle the blaze and halt its spread.
