Fire crews are actively combating a significant fire at a two-story multi-unit residential structure located at 2801 Barton Ave. Initial reports from the scene indicate that Engine 14 arrived to find heavy fire showing from the C-side of the building. Battalion 1 has established command and confirmed that water is being applied to the flames. A primary search conducted by Truck 3 has come back negative at this time.
