Firefighters tackled heavy flames ripping through a three-story mixed-occupancy residential building at 26th and Tasker streets. The alarm sounded at 7:10 a.m. on Jan. 7, with command reporting intense fire visible from the structure and possible people trapped on the third floor. Crews quickly applied water to the blaze, and the response escalated to an all-hands operation under Box 2413.
