Firefighters responded to a working building fire at 300 S. Morris St. on Jan. 4. Emergency crews from the Snow Hill Fire Department arrived at the scene around 4:07 p.m. following reports of flames inside the structure. Officials initially issued a box alarm and later requested a full working fire dispatch to help combat the blaze.
