Firefighters Battle Blaze at Byram Township Home

Emergency crews are working to extinguish a fire that started on the second floor of a residence at 85 Tamarack Road in Byram Township on Jan. 11. Upon arrival, firefighters observed intense flames from the top level of the three-story frame house. Teams have advanced one hose line and are performing searches for potential residents inside. Mutual aid from adjacent communities has been summoned to provide extra manpower.
