Firefighters battled a blaze on the second floor of a four-story multiple dwelling at 5316 16th Ave. in Brooklyn early Thursday morning. The incident was reported at 8:25 a.m. on Jan. 1. Ladder 147 was first to arrive on scene under a 10-75 alarm, box 2551. The fire was brought under control without reported injuries.
