Firefighters responded to a first-alarm blaze at 331 Vermont St. in Buffalo on Jan. 6 at 9:50 p.m. The fire originated in the basement of a large 2.5-story mixed-use structure, impacting the #2 side. Crews arrived to find flames visible and launched a rapid effort to contain the spread.
