CRASH INVESTIGATION NEEDED
Every year, more pedestrians lose their lives on U.S. roads. These deaths are preventable—drivers can help stop them by being attentive whenever they are behind the wheel. Approximately 2,304 pedestrians were struck and killed by drivers on U.S. roads in the first half of 2024, the Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) said in a report.
“In most instances, pedestrians possess the right of way when crossing an intersection or a street regardless of if they are in a marked crosswalk,” said Candice Bond, an experienced pedestrian accident attorney.
Bond, Managing Partner of Bond Legal, noted that in cases such as this, it is imperative to have an independent probe conducted by a seasoned lawyer to help protect the rights of the victim.
“Having the proper resources is extremely important in order to investigate a pedestrian accident case and prove negligence,” Bond added.
WRONGFUL DEATH CLAIM
Pending the outcome of the investigation, the family of Feliciano Pascual Nacario may be entitled to pursue a wrongful death claim, which can help cover damages such as loss of love, companionship, and emotional suffering.
“The stress and sorrow can be extremely overwhelming after losing a loved one in an accident,” said Candice Bond, Managing Partner at Bond Legal. “We understand what families are forced to endure, and protecting their rights is essential.”
Bond emphasized that a wrongful death attorney can provide critical guidance during such a difficult time. “A lawyer can stay closely informed on the official investigation while ensuring that the family’s legal rights and best interests are safeguarded.”
