Three teenage boys from Apopka lost their lives in a single-vehicle rollover early Sunday morning, authorities confirmed.

The Florida Highway Patrol continues to examine circumstances surrounding the deadly incident that also left three others seriously injured.

Police lightsJulio Valdez Lopez and Enrique Rodriguez Sabas, both 17 and from Apopka, were killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Welch Road near Wekiwa Drive.

What Happened in the Apopka Crash?

A 2020 Chevrolet Silverado carrying six local teens veered off Welch Road near Wekiwa Drive and struck a tree after the driver lost control on a curve. The collision occurred around 1:30 a.m. on November 9.
