A stove fire caused smoke damage to a residence on Jan. 6. First responders were dispatched to 39 Stuart Dr. in Syosset after reports of smoke in the house stemming from a stove fire. The blaze was quickly knocked down with no further extension, and the home was vented to clear the smoke.
