A teenage pedestrian lost her life after a driver struck her and fled the scene near a local intersection in Muskogee County. 

Authorities continue searching for the vehicle involved in the fatal collision that occurred on November 6.

What Happened in the Fort Gibson Pedestrian Crash?

Eden Ferrell, a 16-year-old resident, died following the hit-and-run incident in Fort Gibson.

Her mother, Amber Jackson, noted Ferrell stood minutes from home and described her daughter as patient, caring, and thoughtful toward others. Jackson expressed that the driver's failure to stop and call 911 made the loss unforgivable.
