Firefighters responded to a minor chair fire at a residence on Tremont Street Friday evening, extinguishing the blaze without further incident. The Duxbury Fire Department arrived at 32 Tremont St. around 9:33 p.m. on Jan. 17 and promptly put out the fire involving a chair. No injuries were reported, and the incident was contained quickly, preventing any spread to the structure.
