Emergency responders hurried to a severe single-vehicle accident on Route 80 East near mile marker 42 in Parsippany, where a car slammed into a tree, trapping one occupant inside. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered the vehicle engulfed in flames, prompting the closure of one lane south of the site. Reinforcements from Morris County fire departments were dispatched to provide support.
