Multi-Vehicle Crash Occurred on Jarvis Parkway Near Leopard Drive

A 43-year-old Arkansas native lost his life Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Texarkana, Bowie County, authorities said.
The victim has been identified as Donnie Brooks Jr., a resident of Texarkana, Arkansas. According to a preliminary investigation, Brooks and another driver were both heading southbound on Jarvis Parkway near Leopard Drive shortly after 3 p.m. when their vehicles collided.
Donnie Brooks Jr., a 43-year-old man from Arkansas, tragically lost his life in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Bowie County, authorities confirmed.
Brooks’ vehicle veered off the roadway, went down an embankment, and overturned. He was ejected from the car and later died from his injuries at the hospital.
The other driver was reportedly uninjured. The crash is still under investigation.
