Smoke filled the second floor of a two-story multi-family home after a fire was extinguished, leading emergency medical services to assess a resident for possible smoke inhalation. The incident occurred early Jan. 8 around 12:22 a.m. at 5049 E Main Street Rd. First responders observed smoke damage throughout the area, with no active flames present. Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
