Emergency crews rushed to a vehicle accident on US-40 at 19th Avenue, where a car veered off the road and collided with trees, trapping one occupant inside the wreckage. Fire department personnel worked swiftly to extricate the pinned driver from the damaged vehicle. EMS personnel reported that CPR efforts were ongoing at the scene on Jan. 5 around 11:56 a.m.
