A vehicle veered off southbound Route 17 at the Route 4 split in Paramus and plunged down an embankment into woods and a ditch on Jan. 18, injuring the occupants. Emergency services rushed to the scene, where the car was found off the roadway. No entrapment was reported, and heavy towing equipment was requested to remove the vehicle. The incident took place around 5:29 p.m.
