Firefighters responded to a structure fire in a shed at 145 Snediker Ave. on Jan. 12, where acetylene tanks were involved, prompting an all-hands emergency call. Ladder Company 176 was the first to arrive on the scene. The incident, identified as Box 1707 and BN44, necessitated a full mobilization because of the hazardous materials. The fire was brought under control with no reported injuries, based on initial dispatches from the scene.
