Breaking: One Fatality Reported in Pleasant Valley House Fire

A single victim suffering from severe smoke inhalation was medevaced from a structure fire at 3508 Littlestown Pike near Cemetery Lane. Emergency crews responded to the blaze early on Jan. 16. The victim, listed as Priority 1 and later pronounced deceased, was airlifted from a landing zone at Carroll City Airport. Maryland State Police Trooper 1 helicopter was heading to the scene with an estimated arrival of 20 minutes.
