Emergency responders from the New York Police Department launched a water rescue operation at Baisley Pond early Jan. 6. The incident occurred at the intersection of Lakeview Blvd E and 119th Dr, where NYPD officers reported a person in the water. Aviation units were deployed overhead to assist in the effort, according to dispatches from the 1st Responder Wireless News Dispatch team, a division of Belsito Communications Inc.
