A fire broke out on the rear deck of a home at 5 Cronk Road in Sandisfield on Jan. 13 at around 9 p.m. Responders from local fire departments arrived at the scene, where the cause remains under investigation. Mutual aid, including a tanker, was en route for support, and crews quickly applied water to combat the flames.
