Emergency responders carried out a successful mountain rescue on March 15, extracting a hiker who was found alert and stable roughly three-quarters of a mile from the trailhead. The team employed a Big Wheel extraction technique to bring the individual to safety. This operation was coordinated by the 1st Responder Wireless News Dispatch team, a division of Belsito Communications Inc.
