A car crashed into a utility pole on Argonne Road East, leaving at least one person injured. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to treat the victim before transporting them to a local hospital. The motor vehicle accident occurred Jan. 18 at approximately 10:23 a.m. in Hampton Bays. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
