Rescue teams responded after a boat ran aground in a river near Norwich, trapping people aboard, with one individual suffering from hypothermia. The U.S. Coast Guard and fire department arrived on scene on March 18 around 7:38 p.m. Efforts to free the trapped individuals are ongoing, according to initial reports from the 1st Responder Wireless News Dispatch team, a division of Belsito Communications Inc.
