Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Collision with Brightline Train

A male bicyclist suffered serious injuries after being struck by a Brightline passenger train at the 12th Avenue South Florida East Coast Railway crossing in Lake Worth. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue crews arrived at the scene and issued a priority 2 trauma alert. The victim was taken to St. Mary's Hospital by ground ambulance.
