Bicyclist Seriously Hurt in Collision with Brightline Train in Lake Worth

A Brightline train struck a male bicyclist at the 12th Avenue South crossing of the Florida East Coast Railway, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and issued a Priority 2 trauma alert. They transported the injured man to St. Mary's Hospital by ground ambulance. The incident occurred Jan. 12.
