Firefighters are battling a blaze in the basement of a two-story row home on North Gratz Street in Philadelphia. The fire was reported at 11:22 a.m. on Jan. 11. Crews from two engines and two ladders responded to the address at 4526 N. Gratz St., conducting primary searches that turned up negative—no occupants were found inside during the initial sweep.

The flames were confined to the basement, and no injuries have been reported. Investigators with the Philadelphia Fire Department are on scene determining the cause of the fire.
