Barry William Tutt, a 71-year-old resident of La Verne, died Friday after a hit-and-run driver struck him near Dana Point Harbor Drive.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department identified the driver and arrested him on charges related to the collision and suspicion of driving under the influence.
