Authorities Respond to Minor Kitchen Fire at Meriden Residence

A minor kitchen fire broke out at a home on Quinlan Avenue in Meriden on Jan. 15. The blaze occurred at 28 Quinlan Ave. on the first floor around 4:23 p.m. Fire crews arrived quickly, extinguished the flames and began ventilation efforts. A fire marshal has been called in to investigate the cause.

Fortunately, no one was hurt, and the damage to the property remained limited.
