A 40-year-old man was discovered conscious and suffering from a gunshot wound early Friday morning. Emergency services quickly transported him to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. The shooting took place around 8:43 a.m. on March 21. The suspect had already fled the area by the time law enforcement officers arrived on the scene. Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
