The U.S. Geological Survey has reported a magnitude 3.5 earthquake striking the Gulf of Alaska, located roughly 100 miles southeast of Kodiak. The quake hit at 7:53 a.m. local time on March 13, with its epicenter at 57.589 degrees north latitude and 154.252 degrees west longitude.
