Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a 15-year-old with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was rushed to Kindred Hospital in Paramount by private vehicle, where CPR was performed during transport. Long Beach police responded to the scene after the incident, which took place on Feb. 28 at around 5:30 a.m. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
